USU Public Safety provides crime prevention programs and trainings to the USU campus community, including students, staff and faculty.

  • Alcohol Awareness – the effects of impairment, laws and USU policies
  • Crime Prevention – overall crime prevention practices and tips
  • Drug Awareness – impairment, laws and USU policies
  • Sexual Assault Self Defense – R.A.D. self-defense (1 hour demo)
  • Shoplifting Prevention – what to watch out for, reporting procedures, laws
  • Fraud Prevention – identify, report, and prevent the most common types of scams targeting university communities 
  • Workplace Violence /Armed Aggressor – warning signs, what to do, how to protect yourself
